What does the star’s kitchen say about its owner: lonely Bezrukova needs it only for coffee, Klimova needs it for a sense of power.

An old saying goes: the kitchen is the face of the housewife. What if this housewife is an actress? Together with an interior designer, we studied the personal spaces of famous women and learned a lot of interesting things.

The kitchen has always been, is and will be the heart of any home. Family holiday with a rich table in the living room? All guests still end up in the kitchen. An important conversation with your loved one? Usually happens over a cup of tea or a glass of something stronger in the kitchen. Heartfelt conversations with a friend also usually take place in the kitchen. This is a special place for all of us - and celebrities are no exception.

In star houses, kitchens are always of particular interest to us ordinary people. Where does the artist drink her morning coffee? What brand of refrigerator does she have? Electric or gas stove? Is there perfect cleanliness and order or complete chaos? Oh, she has plates like mine!

Together with interior designer Karolina Dorokhina, we studied many houses of Russian celebrities, but this time we decided to focus specifically on kitchens. We’ll tell you how successfully they managed to design the “heart of their home.”

Irina Bezrukova

Irina Bezrukova's kitchen is small. It is made in a classic style, the equipment is selected according to the general idea: a stove, an oven, an extractor hood and even a refrigerator, which is usually quite difficult to integrate into such a design, are ideally packaged in “facades”. But despite the beautiful, one might say doll-like, furnishings, this kitchen does not look particularly cozy and, oddly enough, homely.

“Despite its beauty and functionality, the kitchen gives the impression of a 'non-residential' space. Most likely, the only thing the hostess prepares there is coffee. Ideal cleanliness and order are incompatible when the kitchen is full of life, but a residential building can (and should) be clean, but not so ideal. Also pay attention to the dining area - a small table and two chairs. This suggests that the hostess does not receive guests in this house, in this kitchen,” the specialist sums up.

Ekaterina Volkova

The kitchen of “The Voronins” star Ekaterina Volkova is made in the Art Nouveau style (it can be seen in the design of the lower cabinets, handles, appliances and calm color scheme), which also contains classical elements: the facades of the upper cabinets and the kitchen faucet. From the photographs we can conclude that, unlike the previous one, this kitchen is used for family gatherings and the creation of culinary masterpieces. According to the expert, the room not only serves as a beautiful photo zone, but is also used for its intended purpose.

“Notice the TV that ''sticks out'' from the living room area. This suggests that the space was initially designed in such a way that the hostess could both cook and watch new episodes in which she played. I have only one comment about this kitchen - the color. The gamma of gray chosen is too heavy; most likely, it becomes difficult to be in this kitchen quite quickly,” the expert argues.

Ekaterina Klimova

Ekaterina Klimova's kitchen is made in Russian manor style. Everything in it is permeated with love for your home - soft light, warm shades, carved furniture. In every detail you can feel that the arrangement of this space was done with love. And the lampshade as a symbol of family unity once again proves this.

Agree, even through the photo you can smell the buns and cinnamon coffee that are prepared here regularly. One can easily assume that for the actress it is very important to gather all the children at the table - and she also regularly invites her friends to visit, for kitchen gatherings. But some details also emphasize the authority, if you like, a kind of “autocracy” of the housewife, in whom everything is in its place, laid out on shelves.

“Despite the fact that the furniture is quite 'heavy' both in size and color, there is no feeling of clutter; on the contrary, the atmosphere is very cozy. It seems that everyone will find a place at this large hospitable table. The interior is simple at first glance, but sophisticated upon examination. The housewife definitely has taste, she loves and can create beauty around herself,” explains the designer.

Anastasia Makeeva

If you don’t look too closely, Anastasia Makeeva’s kitchen vaguely resembles the one Irina Bezrukova created in her home. As a rule, such sets are ordered by housewives who do not like to cook, but at the same time it is extremely important for them that the kitchen is beautiful and functional in case their priorities suddenly change.

“We can assume that the TV presenter still sometimes cooks, because the countertop, like the island, is densely packed. Not the best attitude towards space, because a mess in the house brings disorder to your life, including your personal life,” warns Caroline.

Anastasia Melnikova

We can see Anastasia Makeeva’s kitchen in photographs from different years. According to the expert, the changes are immediately noticeable.

“In the earlier photos we see a classic kitchen. Just look at this sink - it’s a work of art that plays beautifully with the decor. But in subsequent ones she seems completely orphaned. The porcelain cups painted using the Gzhel technique, which so beautifully echoed the candles and matched the pattern of the apron, disappeared, leaving gray and dullness. Just imagine how a couple of details added by beautiful glassware can change the overall picture, so don’t underestimate them.”
