Logitech unexpectedly announced an update to its Keys-To-Go keyboard, which was released 10 years ago. Keys-To-Go 2 has a completely new design and additional features.

The idea behind the original version was to offer customers a lightweight and compact keyboard that they could take with them anywhere. As a result, a device with a thickness of only 6.1 millimeters appeared. The new generation is still ultra-thin: 4.57 millimeters at its thinnest point and 8.77 millimeters at its thickest when closed.

At the same time, instead of a fabric keyboard, full-fledged keys on a plastic panel are now used. The new product also has a hinged lid for transportation. That is, now you don’t have to buy a case for it.

The very thin case did not allow a charging port to be built into the Keys-To-Go 2, so coin-type batteries are used to power it. The manufacturer claims that they should last for 36 months.

But there is a Logitech Easy-Switch button that allows you to switch between multiple devices. The key travel is 1.1 millimeters, which, of course, is not comparable to full-size analogues, but is still quite noticeable for such a modest device size.
