This wikiHow will teach you how to copy and paste in chat in Roblox. If you're on a Windows computer, the keyboard shortcut will seem familiar, but Mac users will need to press the same key combination to copy text. Mobile users tap and press the word they want to copy, move the selection tool to highlight all that they want copied, then press Copy. After that, a clipboard icon will appear to indicate that there is copied text that they can paste.

Steps

1. 

   Open the chat in Roblox. You can click the chatbox or press / on your keyboard.

   Highlight the text you want to copy. Using your mouse, select text to highlight it.

3. 

   Press Ctrl+C. This keyboard combination will copy the highlighted text to your clipboard.
   • Even if you're using a Mac, press Ctrl instead of Cmd.

4. 

   Press Ctrl+V (Windows) ⌘ Cmd+V (Mac) to paste. You can paste the copied text anywhere. If you want to paste the copied text more than once, press that key combination again.
   • Roblox may filter strings of numbers, so if you're having trouble pasting numbers in chat, try entering one at a time.
