21 years on stage, 18 soloists, millions of broken hearts: remembering the participants of VIA Gra.

There is no girl in our country who does not know at least one VIA Gra song. There is no karaoke bar where the compositions of this group are not performed every evening. There's no breakup that doesn't have "That was wonderful" on the soundtrack. There is not a single bachelorette party where “Diamonds” is not sung in chorus.

September 3rd is a special date. And not because Mikhail Shufutinsky sang it. On this day exactly twenty-one years ago the VIA Gra group was created.

If you believe Wikipedia, from September 2000 to September 2021, nineteen trios changed - only in 2002, during the three autumn months, four soloists appeared on stage: Alena Vinnitskaya, Nadezhda Granovskaya and Anna Sedokova were then joined by Tatyana Naynik.

Particularly noteworthy is composition number five, called “golden”. It lasted a little over a year, but turned out to be the brightest - passionate and flexible as a snake, Nadezhda Granovskaya performed on stage with the childishly spontaneous Anna Sedokova and the gentle Vera Brezhneva.

Subsequently, Brezhneva built a successful solo career (and became the wife of the group’s producer, Konstantin Meladze), Granovskaya devoted herself to motherhood, and Sedokova was able to combine these two roles.

It is impossible not to mention Svetlana Loboda, who joined the group for only six months. Many may not remember how she appeared on stage with a shock of fiery red curly hair and indecently short skirts.

It really was like in a past life. Today, Svetlana, without exaggeration, is the brightest graduate of VIA Gra and looks completely different. But the love for minis still remains.

In total, 18 participants passed through the team during this time - some of them set off on their own and became real stars, others chose their family over their career, but this did not dim their shine.

Many ex-soloists of the group commented under Herceg’s congratulatory post, leaving modest hearts in the comments. We won’t undertake to say whether they will indulge in memories, but we suggest remembering all the members of the most successful, most famous and, without a doubt, the sexiest female group on the Russian stage.

The girls were all very different, but their images remained unchanged: a trio of ice (blonde), darkness (brunette) and flame (red-haired).
