The daughter of actress Margarita Terekhova showed her seriously ill mother for the first time in a long time.

The actress suffers from Alzheimer's disease and no longer recognizes her loved ones.

79-year-old actress Margarita Terekhova has been bedridden for more than ten years due to Alzheimer's disease. She does not remember for what roles the whole country fell in love with her and does not recognize either her children or grandchildren.

The actress is famous for her performance in the film “D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers.” In the mid-2000s, her daughter Anna said that her mother was suffering from a serious illness. The last time Terekhova appeared in society was in 2012.

On August 25, the artist will celebrate her 80th birthday.

It became known that in honor of this event, on August 20, unpopular films with her participation will be presented at the Illusion cinema, and on her birthday, Margarita Terekhova will be lovingly greeted by her relatives and colleagues.

On her blog, Margarita’s daughter Anna posted a photo of her sick mother. In the photo, the artist is already aged, her face is wrinkled, but her charming smile is the same as in her youth.

Terekhova’s son Aleksandr is sure that if it weren’t for her diagnosis, his mother would have spent all her time with her granddaughter, with whom they are so similar in character. But now he himself rarely visits her - either there’s a pandemic, or he lives far away, or he’s busy.

Alexander's daughter, little Vera, is growing up to be a real copy of her star grandmother. And sometimes she looks at her in such a way that her parents look at each other - a real Milady. Margarita Borisovna and her granddaughter were born almost on the same day: the actress on August 25, and Vera a day earlier.

Now next to the great actress on a permanent basis is her nurse, who has been caring for her for many years.

“Mom has been living with an assistant for many years. Ten, probably. There is no way without this. She lives in the apartment she has always lived in. It’s such pain that mom…” says Alexander.
