It was there that the marriage of 81-year-old billionaire and owner of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution football teams Robert Kraft to 47-year-old ophthalmologist Dana Bloomberg took place. The couple threw a surprise party for their family and friends: the newlyweds invited everyone to a “football” event, and in the end the event turned into a real wedding.

Despite the fact that the ceremony took place in the heart of the Big Apple, the lovers did not want to arrange everything on the scale that was expected of them. The bride arrived through the back door wearing a lace Elie Saab jumpsuit, which she designed with the designers, and midway through the party she changed into an ivory Naeem Khan dress. However, the biggest surprise was Robert Kraft himself - the groom wore his favorite blue sports jacket, which he wears to football matches, and had Air Force 1 sneakers on his feet. 

The owner of the New England Patriots and Dana Bloomberg got married to a serenade performed by Sir Elton John - the musician himself volunteered to perform at the wedding as a headliner. Rocketman began his hour-long set with Circle of Life, followed by Tiny Dancer, Philadelphia Freedom, Don't Let the Sun Down on Me and Can You Feel the Love Tonight. 

Among the famous guests was also Ed Sheeran, who sang Candle in the Wind with Elton John - the newlyweds performed their first dance to this song. Afterwards, the reins of music were handed over to rapper Meek Mill, and then the party was continued by DJ Grandmaster Flash.

No wedding is complete without drama. At this celebration, Tom Brady, a close friend of Robert Kraft and the main star of the NFL, answered for her. The fact is that the American football player arrived at the event without his wife, top model Gisele Bündchen. Brady's proud singleness has become a new reason for rumors of an impending divorce.

Let us remind you that 40 days after the loud announcement of his retirement from sports, Tom Brady... changed his mind. The footballer said that he would spend one more season and finish “unfinished business at the club.” Bündchen was very disappointed, although she supported him on social networks and wished him good luck.
