Nikolai Efremov was discharged from the hospital - he is already moving on crutches.

After 1.5 months of treatment, the man was allowed to return home. Now the treatment will continue on an outpatient basis.

On June 30, 2023, it became known that the son of Mikhail Efremov fell from the window of his own apartment on the third floor. Fortunately, the neighbors promptly called an ambulance; doctors arrived within a few minutes. At the S.S. Yudin Efremov Jr. City Clinical Hospital, he was immediately sent to intensive care with a combined injury.

The 31-year-old man, in addition to his head, suffered damage to his pelvic and hip bones. Doctors managed to successfully perform an operation to fuse them. However, at some point, having learned that he might remain disabled, Nikolai began to refuse to take the medications necessary for recovery. But it seems that all the worst is behind us.

The Mash telegram channel reported that Efremov was discharged from the hospital.

Doctors assessed the condition of Mikhail Efremov’s son as satisfactory. Therefore, now his treatment will continue on an outpatient basis.

Nikolai still has a long rehabilitation ahead of him under the supervision of doctors in a special center. At first, the man will be able to move only on crutches.

Let us note that initially experts did not even undertake to make predictions about Efremov’s recovery. His injuries were so serious that he was in a fight for his life.

Nikolai had a very difficult time with treatment emotionally. In June they even said that he was being prepared for transfer to another clinic where there is a somatopsychiatric department.

Let us remind you that when falling from the third floor, the actor suffered a head injury, broke his femur and pelvic bones, and also lost a lot of blood. In the very first days, Efremov Jr. underwent two operations, connection to a ventilator and coma.

It is also known that the victim was not initially found to be intoxicated. Although neighbors claimed that the man was addicted to alcohol. However, a close friend of Mikhail Efremov and Evgenia Dobrovolskaya (Nikolai’s parents), restaurateur Tatyana Berkovich, stood up for him:

“He does not abuse alcohol, as the media claim. He's a grown guy."

True,  prohibited substances were later found in the man’s blood . This fact surprised all the victim’s friends.  

It is still unknown what happened on June 29 in Nikolai’s apartment. Efremov Jr.’s wife and child were not there, so no one could witness what happened.
