Breaking up with a girl, love spell, finding yourself: how rapper Gnoyny ended up in a mental hospital.

The victory over Oksimiron brought rapper Slava CPSU unprecedented popularity. However, he is now announcing his retirement.

Vyacheslav Mashnov has many names, but most know him under the pseudonyms Gnoyny, Sonya Marmeladova or Slava KPSS. This is a battle rapper from St. Petersburg, who performed at the SlovoSPB site, and also founded the creative association “Antihype”, which included Andrey Zamai, Victor SD and Booker (Fedor Ignatiev).

Gnoyny gained popularity when he defeated rapper Oksimiron in one of the battles in 2017.

As Slava himself admits, after that he got his first taste of big money: he was invited to be a member of the jury in a show on the STS TV channel “Success”, he gave interviews to Yuri Dudu and Ksenia Sobchak. However, there was also an unpleasant side - invitations began to arrive to strange events that the artist did not particularly like. But impressive fees prevailed in the battle with morality.

“I performed in a sauna for a teenager for 2 million rubles and flew to a corporate event in London, where I raped among dwarfs and naked women who were serving food,” the rapper admitted in “Confession” for a special project on TNT Premier, where stars tell their story rather than answering the interviewer's questions.

In the same monologue, Mashnov admitted that recent years have been very difficult for him. And when the whole country was in quarantine, he ended up in a psychiatric hospital for two months.

The reason for this was the breakup with his girlfriend Alexandra. She was an artist, and they met after one of Slava’s performances. Sasha came up to give him his portrait, after which the communication continued for three whole years.

What happened after? Gnoyny did not tell, but he blames himself exclusively for such a sad outcome of events.

What tormented him most was the fact that he did not have the opportunity to fix everything. Alexandra cut off all contacts: changed numbers, social networks and even left St. Petersburg.

The rapper was so worried that at some point it turned into an obsession. He converted one of his apartments into a museum in memory of their relationship. It contained all the things that were associated with Sasha: one earring, pajamas, a blouse bought from the girl’s friend, toys that Mashnov stole from her parents’ house, and even buns from the bakery where they visited together. Only there did he feel better.

At some point, Slava’s friend could no longer watch his suffering and advised him to turn to his grandmother-witch. According to her, she could have committed a love spell. The rapper didn’t even think about the possible consequences and immediately went there.

He drank the blood of a dead rooster, although he is a vegetarian, in the hope of returning his beloved. Instead, a naschat bird, killed by the rapper, began to come to him in a dream. Knowing this, friend Andrei Zamai sent Gnoyny to his spiritual father.

“You’ve done a lot of things... You’ve made a deal with the devil,” said the confessor and advised Slava to find God, because he had installed his ex-girlfriend in his place.

“I watched videos on YouTube that said crows are one of the smartest birds. After that, he went outside and talked to them. And then also with stray dogs. As a result, he began to preach, stopped sleeping, washing, and talked to everyone only about enlightenment,” Vyacheslav admitted in the same “Confession.”

Andrei Zamai looked in horror at what was happening to his friend, and, unable to bear it, put him in the car and took him to a psychiatric hospital. Gnoyny spent two months there.

Slava does not particularly talk about the details of his stay in the medical institution.

After everything that happened, the rapper believed in God, and now considers alcohol, money and fame to be dirt, as well as people who continue to surround themselves with these attributes. That's why Slava doesn't respect Husky and Morgenstern. Although he is ready to help the latter:

“I'm worried about the young guy. He fell into the devil's trap."

Vyacheslav also made an important statement: he is retiring from his career.

Gnoyny has not yet decided what he will do next. He has a desire to learn how to do something with his own hands and gain experience in ordinary work. However, he also wants to immerse himself in art and start creating his own series and cartoon.
