They are suitable for extreme diving and hold a charge for up to two weeks without power saving mode.

The watch has a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a refresh rate of 1 to 60 Hz. Thanks to the adaptive frequency and a large 530 mAh battery, the new product should last 14 days with standard use and up to 8 days with active use. Included is wireless charging, which takes 60 minutes to replenish 100% charge. Recharging to 25% takes only 10 minutes.

All standard sensors are present: heart rate, pulse oximeter and even ECG. New is Expedition Mode, which uses dual-frequency GPS for more accurate geopositioning.

Huawei has also added a selection of modes and functions specifically for divers, but otherwise the capabilities are consistent with the Watch GT 3 Pro , which also runs on Harmony OS.

Huawei describes the case material as an “innovative zirconium-based liquid metal,” which sounds suspiciously similar to the LiquidMetal used to make modern Omega watches. The black version's straps are made from hydrogenated nitrile rubber, while the blue watch comes with a premium titanium alloy bracelet. The bezel in both cases is ceramic, and the display is protected by sapphire crystal.
