And gold, and steel, and sports: Zenith has released a new version of the iconic watch.

The 2021 Chronomaster Sport from Zenith has become the gold standard in sports automatic chronographs. Now they have two stylish variations at once.

During the Watches & Wonders salon, the Zenith brand presented an exclusive series of boutique watches: the Chronomaster Sport in steel. Watches are available in boutiques and online boutiques worldwide. The model is distinguished by an engraved ceramic bezel, consisting of three ceramic elements in three colors traditional for El Primero - grey, anthracite and blue. The elements are connected seamlessly and form a single unit on the base of the bezel, also made of ceramic. The bezel colors differ from the counters on the dial, allowing for better visibility of the 1/10-second chronograph. The series also attracts attention with its silver sunburst dial and tri-color counters.

Predating even the El Primero caliber, gold chronographs hold a special place in Zenith's history. Combining technology and fine jewellery, Zenith creates the Chronomaster Sport watch entirely in rose gold, including the bracelet and engraved bezel with 1/10th of a second counter. The Chronomaster Sport features a black or white dial and the iconic three-color El Primero counters, complemented by gold hands and applied hour markers. The watch is crafted in rose gold with brushed and polished finishes that enhance the shine of the precious metal.

The Chronomaster Sport is also available in a two-tone version, combining the strength of steel and the beauty of rose gold. The case and side links of the bracelet are made of stainless steel, while the bezel, crown, pump pushers and central links of the bracelet are made of rose gold. The silver, tri-color sunburst dial adds sparkle, highlighting the variety of shades and textures.

The result of more than 50 years of development of the El Primero, the world's first automatic high-beat caliber, is a new, even more advanced version of the movement - El Primero 3600, hidden in the case of the new Chronomaster Sport watch. The balance oscillation frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vph) guarantees measurement accuracy up to 1/10 of a second.

The indicators are easy to read and displayed directly on the bezel and dial. In addition, the watch has an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The new movement architecture is clearly visible through the sapphire crystal back of the watch: a blue column wheel and an open rotor decorated with the five-pointed Zenith star.

The new models meet the highest quality standards, and new materials are designed to provide even more choice, so that anyone looking for a modern sports chronograph can find the ideal model for themselves.
