Nikita Mikhalkov was hospitalized in Moscow due to heart problems.

Most recently, the director managed to recover from severe Covid, but now he is back in the hospital.

More recently, we were happy that director Nikita Mikhalkov was able to overcome health problems and returned to work again, but now it has become known about Nikita Sergeevich’s new hospitalization.

Telegram channel 112 reported that Mikhalkov was admitted to the hospital. As it became known, Nikita Sergeevich is now in the department of surgical treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias in one of the capital’s clinics. The director complained of heart failure and shortness of breath.

Let us remember that last spring we wrote that the director was worried about a sore leg. The cinematographer injured it many years ago, but was never able to fully recover. Over the past few years, Mikhalkov has undergone (!) seven complex operations and spent a total of more than 39 hours under anesthesia.

During surgery, doctors gave the artist an infection - this happened during a hip replacement.

But the health problems did not end there. In the fall, it became known that the director was again hospitalized - this time he was bothered by back pain. And in January 2023, news suddenly appeared about Nikita Sergeevich’s hospitalization with coronavirus.

That time, against the backdrop of severe Covid and worsening chronic diseases, doctors miraculously managed to prevent a heart attack in the master who was in intensive care and put him back on his feet.

Then the host of the author’s program on the federal channel Russia-24 thanked everyone who was worried about his condition.

UPD.: After some time, the director’s wife got in touch and hastened to refute the information about hospitalization. In a conversation with SHOT reporters, she noted that Nikita Sergeevich is “alive and well” and is simply undergoing a routine health check.
