Cartoon messenger application: communicate on VKontakte with cartoons in South Park style.

If you are a long-time fan of South Park or simply always enjoy new features on VKontakte, then the Cartoon Messenger application is a great opportunity to communicate with friends in a new way.

You choose a character drawn in the style of South Park, type a message, add an emotion or action, and your friend sees a cartoon where the character speaks your lines.

Cartoon messenger is a beta version of the too.me project, which is preparing to enter the big world. So far, the application only works well in Google Chrome, as the pirate from the promotional video warns about in advance:

How to create a character?

First of all, you follow the link to the application . Then you listen to the commercial while the list of characters loads. It doesn't load very quickly, so you'll have time to pour tea or read some public page.

In the top left line, choose your character. So far there are not very many of them, there are several ordinary faces and original ones: Joker, Pirate and Darth Vader. In the future, the developers plan to increase the list of cartoon characters so that everyone can find a creature to their liking, but for now you can have fun anyway.

Have you chosen a character? Now you need to write a message, choose an emotion or action that suits him. There are also not very many emotions yet, but they look colorful, for example, you can slap a cake in the face, or kiss and then vomit, and so on.

When you have figured out how to please your friends, select a friend at the top right and send him your message. If (and, most likely, this is the case) your friend does not have the application, he will first receive an invitation to add, and then he will be able to view your message and respond.

Problems?

It’s better to immediately warn your friend with a regular message, because if he has blocked applications, he, of course, will not watch your video and will not even notice the invitation. If everything is in order with this, your friend will receive your notification, install the application, and you will be able to correspond with cartoons.

Prospects

As mentioned earlier, more and more new characters, emotions and actions will be added to the application to make it more interesting for you to communicate, tease your friends and express your emotions. What could be clearer than a cartoon expression of feelings? Much better than static VKontakte emoticons.

In general, the project is much larger than the application for VKontakte. In the future, the developers plan to release an application for smartphones in which you can communicate using 3D cartoons.
