Streaming service Peacock showed a teaser for the series “Rain of Metal.” It is an adaptation of the popular video game series Twisted Metal.
In the story, a courier needs to deliver a package through a post-apocalyptic desert. On the way, he faces numerous obstacles: from fierce looters to a crazy clown chasing victims in an ice cream truck.
Starring Anthony Mackie ( The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
The show's writers describe the series as an action-comedy. The first season will consist of ten half-hour episodes.
"Metal Rattle" will be released July 27 on Peacock.
